Tomas Rundqvist chair of the Swedish Judo Federation committee for the disabled has been nominated by the European Competition & Training Advisory Committee for the position of the SOEE Sport Advisor.
That means Mr, Rundqvist will be the judo advisor for special olympics.
The volunteer technical delegate is representing special olympics, inc. as the key sport advisor for a specific sport and shall be responsible for ensuring that the games organizing committee of the 2011 special olympics world summer games correctly interprets, implements and enforces special olympics sports rules and modifications, the rules of the relevant international sport federation and current rule changes. The td shall advise the game organizing commissioner judo on the technical requirements of the specific sport to ensure a safe, quality and dignified sports environment.
